A new cafe opened up at the Business Park and it’s been buzzing since its opening day. I’m not really a coffee shop kind of girl and definitely not into light meals. I’m a Filipino, I eat rice three times a day – salads and sandwiches aren’t really a full meal for me. Having said that, I wasn’t really keen into visiting Meesh Cafe until that one fateful day when I found myself in the vicinity of Crowne Plaza Doha during lunch time. I decided to be “adventurous” and tried it out.
The decor was instagram-worthy, industrial design but very cozy. I fell in love with it instantly. During my first visit, there was quite a long queue of people waiting to be served and I thought they haven’t mastered their service flow yet at that time. I’ve visited it many times after that and I have to say that it’s becoming better and better.
One thing that was consistent was the the warm smile and friendliness of the staff. It’s what makes me feel like this is the neighborhood cafe Doha is waiting for. A place where staff actually knows your name and remembers your preference. The personalized service is definitely a plus for Meesh.
I’ve tried out their salads and a variety of sandwiches during my numerous visits and I have to say that not one dish disappointed me. Ingredients were fresh and dishes were flavorful, I never realized healthy food can taste this good. The freshly-pressed juices are not to be missed as well.
If they’re able to keep the quality of their food and the personalized service, I truly believe that Meesh Cafe will be one of the coffee shops here in Doha which will be worth the travel to the other side of the city. Soon enough, the days of having only West Bay and The Pearl in mind for a coffee for everyone living in Doha will be over. The Business Park will be put into the map of coffeeshop places because of Meesh Cafe. Good for us who are living in this part of the city.
Have you been to Meesh Cafe? What did you think about it?
