Things To Do in Paris: Visit Trocadero.

As soon as you get out of the Trocadero metro station, walk straight ahead a little and then turn left. You will then have that loud-sounding inhalation of your breathe, just when you do when you get surprised because you will have the most amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from this part of Paris.

The hill of the Trocadero is across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. As the location is elevated, it does give you the best and the whole picture of the iconic tower without having to strain your neck to capture the beauty of this structure. This is a very good place for all your photo souvenirs.

You can have your breakfast there since there are lots of mini stores selling baguettes and all. You can also opt to go down to its gardens (Jardins du trocadero) and just take your time to admire the tower in front of you. I was dying to do this, you know just sit on the grass with my baguette, looking up at the tower and just take it all in, as corny as it sounds I’d love to spend a few hours in that garden with my book. However, I was traveling with my colleague when I visited Trocadero and so I wasn’t able to do this, the cons of traveling with someone. Maybe on my next visit to Paris then. Hopefully. 🙂

One of the good things though that you’re traveling with someone is that you get to take a decent photo of yourself. LOL.

I would love to visit that garden with you and sit on the grass and read a book too! I miss park life 🙂 And I totally agree on the good picture of yourself when travelling with someone 😉
