Things To Do in New York: Enjoy the views from the Empire State Building

Empire State Building

I read on various blogs and tripadvisor comments that the line going up to the Empire State Building normally takes about 3-4 hours which is why I was a bit hesitant to go and wait for that much time. I figured that it’s just going to be the aerial view of New York city anyway, nothing really special about it. Well, I was totally mistaken.

When we arrived at the Empire State Building, there was no line whatsoever. The only thing that we had to wait for was the elevator going up to the 86th floor but other than that, the whole process was a breeze. We’ve paid USD29.00 each for the main observation deck access. It was a beautiful day and the views from the Empire State Building took my breathe away. New York is truly amazing from the top.

Being the tallest building in New York City, it does give you a great perspective to appreciate the city more. I would love to visit it at night but I will have to bring a better camera than my iphone when I do that. 🙂

The most beautiful city in the world! I usually go to Top of the Rock. From there you can also enjoy the view of Empire State Building:)

I heard a lot about the Top of the Rock and I really wanted to go there but the Greek Mister’s family prefer the Empire State. :p
