I’ve had this notion that you go to a pub for a drink in their pub garden and not expect good food because life is unfair and you just can’t have it all. It’s extremely rare for me to actually go to a pub because of their food – it’s normally because of the view or maybe it’s summer and I’d like to enjoy the outdoor seating area without all the fuss. It’s never because I love the food they serve that will make me want to go back.
Except for The Norbiton, which thankfully is one of our local pubs. They only have pizza in their menu as their main dish. I don’t know about you but I love food establishments that have perfected a dish and deemed that they don’t need anything else in their menu compared to those with so many dishes on offer and being just average on all of it.

Since the #EatOutToHelpOut scheme started, we’ve dined at The Norbiton most of the time because it’s very near us and we can always expect great food. We always start our meal with nachos which thankfully isn’t a store-bought doritos or the likes. The husband isn’t normally a fan of nachos but for some reason, he’s fighting with me to eat some of these.

The pizzas they have are properly prepared and cooked Italian-style with a crispy thin crust and ingredients so good that you’d think you’re eating in a proper pizzeria. Our go-to pizza is No.4 which has smoked prosciutto, gorgonzola, mascarpone, mozzarella and pomodoro – it tastes as cheesy and delicious as it sounds. We also don’t shy away from other pizzas that they have as so far, everything that we’ve tried has been phenomenal.
Typing this now made me want to have pizza for dinner tonight. :p
