Reasons Why Living In Dubai Will Ruin You For Life

October 20, 2014
Dubai Skyline
Exactly 2 months ago from today, I arrived in the US for a holiday – an extended one as you may notice. I can’t say that I am going thru a culture shock but after spending 7 years in the glamorous city of Dubai, it did kind of ruin me in some ways. I am missing a lot of things that are considered normal in Dubai but totally unnecessary to the rest of the world. Yep, the rich city of Dubai spoiled us big

Closing A Beautiful Chapter of My Life

August 20, 2014
Burj Al Arab
6 years and 11 months ago, I arrived in a very humid Dubai with no clue of what to expect and no friends nor family whom I know. The only thing I knew then was that it was going to be hot and this I tell you, no matter how much you psych yourself up on how hot and humid Dubai is going to be, it’s still not going to be good enough until you actually experience it. It’s that hot in here! Yacht Cruise at t

Na3Na3 at The Address Dubai Mall
I was invited to attend the iftar at Na3Na3 in The Address Dubai Mall yesterday together with some of the Bloggers In The City. I of course tagged my fasting friend along with me, Jacqui. How to activate DEWA supply in Dubai.

June 27, 2014
Due to the rising cost of house rents in Dubai, myself and a lot of other people I know have transferred houses. It doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m now living in a lot cheaper house because it’s just expensive anywhere in Dubai these days. My reason for moving is an entirely different and more complicated story which I’m too bored to write about. Anyway, I’ve been asked a couple of t

Foodie Wednesdays: Bapas Lounge Dubai

June 4, 2014
Bapas Dubai
The boyfriend picked me up from a Saturday work duty and he was thirsty for a alcoholic drink. Since we were nearby and I’ve been dying to check the place out, I convinced him to go to Bapas at The H Hotel in Sheikh Zayed Road. He laughed at the name but I think it’s quirky and somehow catchy. :p I recently found out just as I write this entry that it has been renamed to Brussels Belgium Bar and Bistro.
