Things To Do In Lake Garda: Be One With Nature

January 5, 2014
Lake Garda
Lake Garda is one of those places that I’ve been dying to go back to since I’ve seen it. I went there with the Trafalgar group last November of 2011 and it was winter that time. Lake Garda is a summer destination so I don’t really see the point of still having that in the itinerary when you can’t even enjoy it fully. It’s like a laser pointer to a cat – seeing it but you can

Things To Do in Rome: Go On a Day Trip to Ostia Antica

August 11, 2013
If you’re a geek like I am and enjoys historical places particularly ancient ruins, then you should add a day trip to Ostia Antica in your bucket list. I took a bus tour from Rome and it’s about an hour away, you can actually go there by train but it’s really recommended to have a tour guide with you while you visit the site. Our tour guide was this lovely professor who knew very well Ostia Antic

Both times though, it’s the same number of crowd in this area which makes it quite hard to take a phot

Bonjourno Italia!

November 11, 2011
By the time this entry gets posted, I’m probably snoring my way to Rome after making the most of the free drinks offered at the business class cabin. Don’t you just love business trips? Italian passenger: Why are you going to Italy at this time? It’s cold! Is it for a holiday? Me: No, it’s actually a business trip. Italian passenger: Oh! Whereabouts in Italy? Me: Rome, Venice and Florence It

Day 2: Venice City Tour

August 17, 2009
Venice, Italy
We started our day with a buffet breakfast at the outdoor restaurant of the hotel overlooking the Grand Canal, now that’s what I call – breakfast at its finest. It was so serene and a really nice experience to have your coffee and hear the birds chirping above you and the splash of water from the canal joining the chorus of this melodic hymn. It was relaxing, I fell in love with my overpriced hotel right then.

Day 1: Arrive in Venice

August 17, 2009
We departed Dubai at 0950 to start our almost 6hour (crappy!) trip to Venice. The flight was packed, lots of family traveling to Europe for vacation, taking advantage of the summer season in the continent. I had to painstakingly go through another thing I hate while on a plane ride (the first one is the fact that I have a slight case of claustrophobia and being in a capsule for more than 2 hours makes me all jitter
