On our way back to Bath from Stonehenge, we passed by Bradford on Avon which is only 20mins away from Bath center. To be completely honest, I didn’t know what to expect from Bradford on Avon. All I did was check what’s the nearest Cotswolds village from Bath and told The Greek Mister that we should pass by it as I know for a fact that all of the Cotswold villages are pretty.
We were not disappointed at all, it’s the typical Cotswold village that I expected it to be.
The rustic charm makes it so unique and cozy.
It was too cold though to walk around so we just explored the area by the river and went straight back to the car as The Greek Mister couldn’t handle the cold any longer.
I wish to go back there though as I’d like to explore it more. I read that the center of town is made up of cobblestone alleyways with unique shops, cafes and restaurants.
I can’t wait for my next visit to Bradford on Avon.
great architecture!!
I do love it too.
Everything looks so charming, love the photos. The town center sounds like a place I’d love to wander around for an afternoon. Thanks for the post!
Thank you Agness. 🙂
so pretty! I’d really like to visit one of the villages of the Cotswolds
You should definitely do it Tanja! It’s a wonderful place and not so far away from London itself. 🙂
Fabulous Architecture
Great scenery
Can’t agree more! 🙂
On my bucket list in like forever.
You should definitely do it this year! :p
Beautiful photos! this is exactly what I mostly miss about London and the UK in general. The historic buildings, the strong cultural vibes and the unique charm of each and every street and area. I hope to visit you soon in London and explore more of the country with you 🙂
I can’t wait for that to happen Nada! 🙂
