Random Street Photos of Washington DC

White House

I must admit that Washington DC took me by surprise. Being the capital of USA and the hub of politics and history, I was expecting it to be a very congested and fast-paced place with all the people suited-up for work rushing to their meetings. Instead, what I saw was a very clean and well-organized city with lots of wide open spaces and greenery. I was not expecting this at all from the seat-of-power of the most powerful country in the world. I didn’t expect that I’d actually fall in love with DC.

Here are some of the random photos I took during my very short stay in DC:

A tourist shouldn’t be driving in DC though, the roads are too confusing. :p
