How do you like my website’s new look?
I have been wanting to redesign my site for the longest time but I’ve been putting it off because I thought it’ll magically prettify itself without me doing anything. That and because I don’t have the budget for it. Well more on the latter as you may well know. I decided that since I am going to start a totally new life in 2015 – married and out of a 9-5 office job, I’d finally do what I’ve been planning to do – take that leap and try to really focus on this blog and hopefully make it a money-making machine. Of course it’s not going to generate as much moolah as if I am in a 9-5 job but hey, at least I’m my own boss.
The whole revamp of my site was done by Grace of MGLITAN – she’s a highschool classmate and I can’t thank her enough for all the help and effort she put on my site. She’s quick and professional and somehow, she understands what my vision is for the site no matter how I’ve poorly described it to her. It’s like I’m seeing how my site looks like in my head and Grace is actually inside my head to put all those things into codes and before I know it, my website’s had a makeover overnight. I cannot thank her enough for being so patient for a technologically-impaired person like me.
Along with a new look of my website, I figured I needed to have a new set of business cards. I came across Printstagram’s double-sided prints and fell in love with it. My instagram account I would say is one of my much-treasured social media accounts. I was able to meet great people from there through the photos I take so I figured it would be great to have my instagram photos incorporated in my business cards and let those photos do the talking of what I do and who I am. The paper quality’s fantastic, it’s very sturdy and the image quality’s great too! I chose my most liked photos to be printed on these cards that way, it would be hard for anyone to throw it in the bin after I hand it out to them. 🙂
So yeah, 2015 is looking good for me – or so I want to believe. Positive thoughts!
