Foodie Wednesdays: Nick’s Riverside Grill | Washington DC

Nick's Riverside Grill

After having our drinks at The Observatory in Graham Hotel, we headed to Nick’s Riverside Grill by the Potomac River of course with the help of Foursquare. We wanted an outdoor, casual and unpretentious restaurant/bar to enjoy the fantastic weather that we have that night and Nick’s Riverside Grill fit those descriptions to a tee.

It was busy when we got there and we were only going to have some snacks so we went onto their self-service section. The boyfriend and I shared a grilled salmon salad which was amazing mainly because the salmon was very fresh and grilled to perfection. We had some more drinks as we enjoyed the view and ambiance of the restaurant. They have a huge indoor section too but all of the customers were by the waterfront to possibly make the most out of the great weather while it lasts.

At USD16 for the grilled salmon salad, I found the price reasonable considering the waterfront location that they have. We were on their self-service area so I don’t have any comments about their service. Their bartenders were friendly though. 🙂

I’d go back for the ambiance and location, possibly to try their dinner option too.
