First Taste of Catering by Norina

We spent our first weekend at my sister’s beautiful house in Gaithersburg, Maryland which is about an hour’s drive away from my mother’s place. She lives in a very pretty neighborhood surrounded by a forest, well at least that’s what the boyfriend said as we’ve never seen that amount of trees for a very long time since we came to Dubai. :p

I fell in love with her house the minute I walked in, it was lovely and very cozy! There was a long table in her kitchen with an array of snacks and nibbles each complimented with assorted dips for us. Alcohol of course was free-flowing. For dinner, she served Thit Nuong a popular Vietnamese cold rice vermicelli noodle dish topped with grilled pork, fresh herbs and vegetables. It was a very filling and delicious meal.

We spent our night in what I can call the “Paris Room”, every single detail in that room was either bought from Paris when my sister went there or Parisian-themed. Charming! 🙂

Her attention to details is remarkable which is why I think her catering business really suits her personality. She is the Managing Director of Catering by Norina, a business she put up to pursue her career in the food industry. She doesn’t only cook all the delicious meals her clients require but also designs the venue as well, putting her personal, artistic touch to give a warm and loving atmosphere on the venue for any occasion.

Should you require any catering needs, you should definitely consider her services.

She looks pleasing. Caterers must have that quality. Dealing with food they must be professional and really good at it. She looks exactly like that.

Food handling requires specific knowledge that may be overlooked when not handled by professionals. When you work with a caterer, you know you’ve hired a professional who helps reduce the risk of undercooked food, cross contamination, and other food issues.

It is important to know exactly how much space do you have in your commercial facility because the design and versatility of the kitchen depends a lot on the size of the place.

The food looks great! I’m sure she’s really good at what she’s doing (and I’m craving Vietnamese food now):)

I gained a few more pounds since I arrived all because of her and my mom’s cooking. :p
