After the very filling dinner at Al Hambra, we then went to the bar inside the same Al Qasr Hotel called Koubba Bar. I’ve been meaning to bring the boyfriend there for a long time but never had the chance. Again, we were ushered by a very friendly receptionist and then a waiter gave us a rundown of the specials of the month.
The atmosphere was amazing with the Burj Al Arab as your view and the perfect weather to accompany it. Of course, we went to sit at the outdoor terrace where all the shisha lovers were at. I had a mocktail and the boyfriend tried the special of the month which I forgot the name but I’m pretty sure the waiter mentioned that it had melon in it. We also ordered one grape shisha to share.
Koubba Bar, because of it’s romantic vibe in it, is probably good for couples. There was a live duo playing so great that you’d think it wasn’t live. I was actually surprised to know that it was live when I went inside the bar to look for the washroom. It’s too good to be a live act. 🙂 Anyway, yes! I will go back there as it’s the best place to relax without the stressful loud party music nor sweaty people trying to grab your ass around you. Perfect for chillaxing weekends.
