Who said you need to be drunk to be happy? I was perfectly sober and alcohol-free for the Christmas eve of this year that I felt so left out. But then again, I just needed to think about the pain I went thru for having gastritis and I’d be happy with the glass of cranberry juice I’m holding. 🙂
Anyway, the party this year was held at Richmond’s place and it was a blast! We had spaghetti which was also not very good for my stomach but I couldn’t resist! I had a mild gastritis attack after I ate a small portion of pasta but it was worth it as it was perfectly cooked by my friend – Pecky Jonald. We also had pizza, shanghai rolls, chicken and buko pandan. I brought a bottle of vodka, rhum and whiskey – all of which were stocks in my room that I can no longer consume so why not give it out to my friends and let them have gastritis too right? It was an all-nighter of laughter, videoke and dancing. Although there were a lot of people who confirmed their attendance for this party and didn’t come (don’t you just hate people like that? I’d shoot them now if only it’s not Christmas!), it was still a blast!
Special mention though for the incredible hospitality extended to me (because I slept over at their house) by Richmond and his wife – Debbie. And to Pecky Jonald as well for passing out on the couch thus, I get to sleep on his bed.
There were a lot of other “incriminating” photos but I’d rather not post it. Hehehe. Later this evening, we’re off to buy our New Year’s Eve tickets for the whole group, so yay!!!!! Another event with these fantabulous people!
Merry Christmas everybody!
