Old Chora, Alonissos, Greece

My favorite things to do in the whole wide world is to travel and to eat which I think always goes hand-in-hand anyway. I’m very adventurous when it comes to food and I do love eating some local delicacies of the place I’m visiting. Enjoying your food with an equally amazing view right in front of you makes your meal more delicious right? RIGHT?? I don’t know about you but for me, a beautiful view creates a great ambiance which adds up to your overall dining experience.

Whenever I travel, I’m always on the lookout for restaurants with a view and here are just some of those places which I really and absolutely loved!

26 of my Favorite Restaurants With A View Around The World (yes, this is a big list).

The view of the calm waters of Damouchari beach from this taverna reminds you that good things in life can indeed be free or in this case, free as you eat some cheap food from a traditional Greek taverna. This place is so beautiful that it didn’t miss the eyes of some Hollywood producers and shot some of the scenes of Mamma Mia in this part of Pelion. It’s absolutely mesmerizing!

Agnontas Beach, Skopelos, Greece

The owner of the hotel we were staying at in Skopelos advised us to go to Agnontas beach when we asked him for a recommendation of a seafood restaurant in the island. He told us that not many tourists go there as it’s more famous for the locals which is the kind of place we love to visit when traveling. We were just in time to witness the sunset. It was the best place to end our long and tiring day in Skopelos.

That is how it’s supposed to be when choosing a restaurant, food first before anything else. We’ve been lucky that most of the places we went to which had a great view served good food too or maybe we were too consumed by the view that we didn’t really mind the taste of the food? Lol. Thanks for dropping by.

Such a great idea for a post – I love a restaurant/cafe with a view. It’s so hard to beat sitting there with something to drink or delicious to eat and gazing out to the sea, or onto the destination. I’ve been to the Thessaloniki rooftop bar, but a view of a volcano would definitely be high up my list. #citytripping

When it comes to restaurants, I’ve never been particularly picky with the views. It had just happened to be an extra bonus at certain, often high-floor spots, but I don’t think that I’ve ever picked a restaurant based on the view alone. Cocktails with a view is a different case. I would pay $30 anytime for a GT as long as it comes with a skyline:)
