Setting: The boyfriend is in a beach somewhere in Greece with his grandparents. I overheard him ordering ouzo (Greek alcoholic drink) from the beach bar.

ME: It’s 1pm in Greece! Why are you ordering ouzo?
HIM: It’s not for me, it’s for my grandfather.
ME: Your grandfather still drinks alcohol?
HIM: Yeah, actually he’s not allowed to but my grandmother allows him.
ME: See? That’s how it’s supposed to be. The men must ask permission from their women before doing anything.
HIM: Nah, that’s not right. My grandfather is already old.
ME: So what?
HIM: He already lost his mind.
